Hey there! I'm just a small-town girl from the Midwest, who likes to jam to Mat Kearney and doodle on my iPad. My art journey kicked off in my Grammy’s studio, she taught me to paint and really encouraged me to follow my passion. When college rolled around, I thought “Why not go for it?” so I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Arts. I quickly learned that the "starving artist" thing is pretty real, that won’t stop me! When I'm not making coffee at my barista job, you can find me drawing or working on some other embroidery project. I have big aspirations and dreams for the next chapter of Savvy Jo Draws.

 

My faith is a huge part of my life; helping me through all the ups and downs. I aim to give God the credit for creations because I know my artistic skills come from Him. My wish is that each artwork will put a smile on your face.  I’m also working on a personal comic and starting a blog so keep an eye out for that!

 

My style has a fun, cartoonish feel with elements of watercolor. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals; especially cats and dogs They often pop up in my art.
