Open Door Mission Mural 2014
Back in 2014, I got in touch with the Open Door Mission in Omaha, NE, to see if I could paint a mural for dining hall hallway. Later, another local artist added a scene of Jesus on the waves, which looked great with the lighthouse I created. It really helped fill out the space. The whole idea was to show how God and faith can be like a lighthouse when you're going through life's storms. The light is shaped a cross, with rays shining through a cloudy background, making it look like stained glass. I even had some local volunteers from my church crew help out!

American Legion Patriotic Rock, 2021
Back in 2021, the American Legion Branch Exira, IA asked me to create a patriotic rock for their park reopening. They even shared some reference photos with me. My grandparents, Eleanor and Delbert, helped me out too. The overall project took two months. Now, it’s an attraction spot for the town, especially when the annual 4 of July parade rolls through. I was honored to get the chance to do this!
